Cool morning breeze from my window
Gently caresses my face
How I love this new day God has made
My heart rejoices with thanksgiving

Brushing my teeth I notice my reflection
Smiling at me in the mirror
How I remember my beloved mother
My heart dances with joy of love

Saying grace before breakfast
My mind reminds me clearly
How generous my Provider is surely
My heart teaches me contentment

Thinking of my day's chores for the home
As a wife and mother of the family
How I realize patience is so challenging
My heart disciplines me to trust God's guidance

Radiant gorgeous colors of the evening sunset
Brightens my room with warmth-so wonderful
How I stand in awe of God's creation
My heart bows to God with adorarion

This new day brings bliss and hope
This blessing surely helps me cope
This peace makes me feel alive
Though I still need to strive.
