THIS IS IT

From the time I knew you existed, I've been less interested in you
I would do anything I could to avoid you
I would lie and give silly, unnecessary excuses just to stay away from you
Silly because they were senseless
And unnecessary because they were, well, unnecessary

And not knowing how awe-inspiring it would be being with you
I thought not to get close to you
I never knew you would make me feel this way
I never knew you would make me feel this way about you

From lip to lip I heard you move
But my lips resisted you continually
And continually I wanted to get further and further away from you
Then I heard a voice say;
"This poem shall speak of the wretched seas that washed ships to these shores"

And with that piece i began to realize that
All this time you have been pleading with me
That you have been calling me to get close to you
Tuesday's made my Soul need more and more of this passion that I have for you
You have been patiently waiting for me to come to my senses
And say to myself, this is the right thing for me
Now I can confidently say to myself
This Is It
