Yess I said I loved you
And honestly I do.
But there's so much going on right now
So much your going through.

And it's really not that easy
Seeing you in pain.
And the thought or your last breath
Is driving me insane.

I really want to be there
But I can't just watch you die.
It's so hard to even think of you
Tears begin to flood my eyes.

Why does it have to be you
My very first true love.
I'm still trying to accept the fact
You'll soon be flying up above.

And though you said you'd always
Be watching over me.
At times I still try to tell myself
There's no way this can be.
