Take It All Away Poem by Jessika Hoppers

Take It All Away

I wake up in the morning to another brand new day. The day brings another oz. of stress to take my peace away. And just when I thought I could take no more. There was something else to help. Push me in my fall to the floor. I no longer want to wake to see another day. If ever given the option I would give it all away. To be given the feeling that I'm no longer lost. I would sell my soul without any cost. Because the guidance I need I feel no one can give. But keeping it in makes it harder to live. All I need is someone who really understands. But I refuse to put my heart into careless hands. So I decide to keep it in for yet another day. Find my peace within the night for the morning to come and take it all away.
