Third Law Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Third Law

Third law

Age adds to experience,
But changes have season!

Being "Baby Boomer, "
After war had ended,
Saw evolving styles,
Departed the old God!

Soon, US invasions
Chose our Shah as friend,
Kennedy turned cousin,
Octopus brought deaths!

We, the then children,
Were blind, unaware,
That after Coup d'état
USA had bought us…

From toes to our head
To our hands, feet, flesh,
To blood in our veins,
To brain, if remained,
Were given, capitulated,
To US and London...

When became students,
We gathered in secret,
Spoke codes, in cipher!

Gave ears to others,
Studied hard, to learn.

Took shape of goat skin,
The windbag, Scottish.

Good actors, and natural,
Pretended, camouflaged,
Compressed air of hate,
Till arrived the right day,
We raised fists, slogan:
"Death to the USA…"

I believe in science,
Newton's law, the third,
In needs some, correction!

Like "Action-Reaction! "

The more the pressure
The reverse will be same.

But about "Direction? "

It depends on the day,
It relies on the games,
It relies on weather,
With fronts, pressure!

We searched light in tunnel,
But choked us the darkness!

Supported mean thunder,
Broke dams brought deaths!

Now, use age as mirror,
Look back and remember,
The devil, and rough days,
So, fear more changes!

I have seen disfigured,
Betraying brothers...

Recall when Mostafa,
Came to tell me of child:
"Was wedding, some drank,
Some drove wild, zigzagged,
The scared guard signalled,
Wanted them to stop…"

Mother, Dad in front
Boy stood in back, watched,
The guard aimed for tire,
Missed, hit the child in head,
Splashed his brain, boy faded!
