Even when I'm not
In a bar
You give me hope
In a hopless place
Even if I don't
See your face
I hear your voice
And I want to cry out
But I can't
For fear of someone's shout
I want to see you again
But you're so far away
It's such a great strain
You're the only girl
Who understands me
The only one who'll
Let me be
Myself
