Josh Menard Poems

1.

'This place
Is jail
Like prison
But no one
...

'I once liked a girl
I was in 3rd grade
She was the same age as me
And very well-made
...

Thinking of you
Wherever you are
We pray for our sorrows to mend
And hope that our hearts will blend
...

What's wrong with music in school?
They teach us to play it every day
And yet
We can't even listen to it to concentrate
...

I can hear what you're thinking,
All your doubts and fears,
And if you look in my eyes, in time you'll find,
The reason I'm here.
...

'This country
Is messed up
It's like
A cracked cup
...

'I was thinking of her
When I should've been thinking
About me
Hell, I go through life
...

Are you okay
With every one at bay
Being struck down
Never gaining the crown
...

Do you know how it feels
To be your own enemy
Someone not to be trusted
Someone whom eveyone would flee
...

With the Moon in my left hand
And the Stars in my right
I will be the one
To end this Blight
...

11.

Come
Shine your light
Shine it bright
So people can see
...

12.

Why am I here
Not sheding a tear
About You
It's like a depressing stew
...

Whatever
You're so clever
I'm done with your endevers
That's why I walk the winding way
...

14.

I am a complete outcast
Like a boat without a mast
I am a nightmare
But all you can do is stare
...

Thank you for reminding me
Of why I am sick inside
Thank you for the venom,
But did really think
...

When I saw you
You were like a bird,
Always in flight
When you saw me
...

It's been eight years
Since that day
Before I saw You
I was nothing but astray
...

18.

'Love is an ancient artifact
One that should be cherished
Though a lot say
That love has perished
...

19.

'Azrael
Come to me
I will not run
I will not flee
...

20.

'Why am I here
With me shedding
Not a tear
About you
...

The Best Poem Of Josh Menard

Jail

'This place
Is jail
Like prison
But no one
Can pay my bail
It stinks
In relation to it's peolpe
But to hear this everyday
I'd hang myself on a steeple
This place
I want no part of
I just need to
Pray to Him above
Save me!
Save me from this maddness
Before I go down
In eternal sadness
When the time comes
I know you'll take me
Although it's the place I'll never know
It's the place I'll always be'
