There's Birds In The Sky Poem by Juan Olivarez

There's Birds In The Sky

There's birds in the sky,
There's birds in the trees.
There's birds on the fly,
There's some round my knees.
They're all around, pretty as you please.

There's green grass in the meadow,
And neath the Oak trees,
There's cool deep, dark, shadows,
And the buzzing of bees.
Winter's done gone, and lost it's lease.

Blade of grass, between my teeth,
Radiant sunshine on my face.
Little critters in the grass beneath,
Blue Widows tears, and Peppermint lace.
Glorious day, of abundant grace.

Another beautifully peaceful poem; well done! Reading this feels as good as standing in the warmth of the morning sun on a crisp, cool spring day.
