The Width Of Wind Poem by nimal dunuhinga

The Width Of Wind

Rating: 5.0

I have seen the harvest what they have hardly reaped?
And came the ferocious wind then taken the grain away to a certain end.
The poor farmers cried aloud and nobody was heard.
Again they plow but who could fights against the invisible wind?

A salutary reminder of the destructive potential of the elements that can never be tamed, no matter how many words are spoken. I applaud your dedication to Sandra Fowler who is one of the finest poets on this site (and beyond) but also one of the most compassionate and humble women I know. As always, your work is beautifully poetic with a powerful message. love, Allie xxxx

The wind cannot be measured, nor can the tears of the poor farmers be counted. This is an excellent poem. Praise for your gifted pen. And thank you very much for the dedication. I am honored to be called both your fellow poet and friend. Warmth to you always from, Sandra
