The Way I Am Poem by Anthony Levitt

Yesterday I acted odd and I'm not sure what you thought...
Today I hope you will accept the simple truth I've brought..
I'm who I am, every single day.
Often worried and cautious in many ways.
On the other hand It's only been a short time and I've grown found of you.
Is this something that should just happen or is there a process I should go through?
I don't want to scare you off, that's the last thing on my mind, and I'm sure in time you'll love what you find.
A caring person with love to give and heart so great, that I wrote you a poem for you to rate.
This is the way I am, It's different I'm sure...
All I ask is please give me time to show you...
