Twilight Moon Poem by Anthony Levitt

Twilight Moon

Rating: 5.0

Admist the mountains, over looking a view...
there is a beautiful sight...so pure... so true...

The whistling wind touchs the emerald grass in such a gentle way.
You can here the branchs of the nearby trees shout out aloud: 'Please, we want to play..! '
Moving from side to side the tips of the trees catch bits of wind sometimes...
and if by magic when the leafs fall off they seem to fly into a single line...

Ah these nights so peaceful and few...
What i wouldn't give to be here with you.
Heaven is real i found right here and you'll find it soon....
How i've longed for a moment of paradise underneath the Twilight Moon.

The sounds of nature seem to beckon and call and the then the stars come out, they fill up the sky and glow so brightly almsot their way of trying to shout!
Look at us! Here we are! High above the land...
Come walk down to the beach and enjoy watching us from the softly silky sand.

I gaze into the ocean and i start to fall asleep...
I'm not worried tho because heaven will be right here even after next week!
If only others could see it too...
but it seems like they want it for themselves, no one else should keep?

Such Glory, such wonder and yet such a long way...
I'm still waiting for you here by the gates...

Ah these nights so peaceful and few...
What i wouldn't give to be here with you.
Heaven is real and i really hope you'll find it soon....
becuase even tho im waiting... you don't seem to be in hurry...
to enjoy these endless nights,

Underneath the Twilight Moon......
