The Waiting Room (Part 2) Poem by Ray Hansell

The Waiting Room (Part 2)

And still they come
With wheelchairs, walkers and canes
Walking past sliding doors
Hoping life can one day be good again

Some, walking very slowly
Others, unable to walk at all
While still others need assistance
To make sure they do not fall

Some wearing surgical masks
So as not to catch a bug
While other faces show the pain
That could be made better by a hug

Some come here seeing miracles
Hoping just one more could be found
But little do they know
There are only so many miracles to go around

There is no limit to miracles. The question is, Why we don't see more of them. But sometimes, when it is a person's time to go, Heaven is far preferable to suffering here on earth. Thanks for sharing this poem, and giving us something to think about!
