The Unmoving Girl Poem by Britt Veloso

The Unmoving Girl

My eyeballs will not waver, my tounge will stay in place
My legs with be still and stoic and my shoes will be fully laced
I will look right to my heavenly shoulder and not take a peek left
My voice will be steady and my posture will be correct
You'll never know I want you, you'll never know i've wept
My curls will be in place and my lipstick will be to my left
You could crash a car right into me and I will never move
The only thing that will ever change is how I feel about you
