The Unknown Rider Poem by niki 5389

The Unknown Rider

Night when the darkness covered the sky,
peeped the moon with a very slight shy.
The black tarred road in the sandy desert
went so long and made no divert.
Sitting near the window and smiling to the moon,
landlord's beautiful daughter expected someone to come there very soon.

Her blood red robe has covered her round
and her long black hair just touched the ground.
No one did know for whom she was waiting
but the moon did know that soon he was coming.
She heard the bike which was even too far from her
and prayed to God that no one else hear.
The bike came closer with a rider on it,
wearing a jacket over the shirt that is fit.
He was tall and handsome with small shiny eyes.
As usual she watched him as he passed her by.

His hair was combed up by the westward wind
and was riding as though it will not end.
Her wet rose lips widened for a very sweet smile
and remained in her until he crossed a mile.
Soon her heart urged for one more sight,
that won't happen until the next day night.
She prayed so hard to the moon to give him light till the day
and requested the wind not to bar his long way.

Landlord's beautiful daughter loved him as deep as the sea
without knowing who was he and what was he.....
