The Tree At The Window Poem by Patti Masterman

The Tree At The Window

Rating: 5.0

The tree at the window
Put its branches inside,
Trying to touch me-
Its heart open wide.

The tree at the window,
All summer gave shade,
Made my room a retreat;
A green shadowed glade.

The tree at the window
Shared its life with me-
And just a few birds
Who came, briefly.

Lovely Patti - I have a Monkey Puzzle outside my window which is great, but the birds don't like it much. Wonder why! ! !

I would love a tree at my window. Apart from the small new one in our front garden when we first moved in. I recognised the variety and had it cut down.3m from the front window with a projected maximum height of 75ft! .. No thanks! !
