The Surrealist Painting Of Physics Poem by Paul Hartal

The Surrealist Painting Of Physics

Physicists don't paint the world as it is.
They cannot make an accurate picture of reality.

Instead, they create mathematical abstractions
and perplexing metaphors,

a universe of invented reality,
enthralling and stunning,

like Magritte's surrealist painting,
"The Meaning of the Night".
