The Sunset Poem by Rommel Galicia

The Sunset

I'm watching From my window pane
The sun goes down after this day
It's slowly falling out of my sight
But I'll be all right just by holding you

Just don't promise me though
Of words that you can not keep
Enough is love that you hold onto
Like in summer when flowers bloom.

A sunset we share day by day ‘til the night
There is nothing we desire but ours to be alright
Together we'll face the morning light

As long as we live
As long as we try..then
The sun shall fall from our eyes

I'd love to hear a song from your heart
As crimsons fade and stars come out
Till my eyes close in a deep sleep
Lost in the warmth of your breath.

And there goes a year or two
And many more shall come through
But The love in your eyes
Will always be like a beautiful sunset.

A sunset we share day by day til the night
There is nothing we desire but ours to be alright
Together we'll face the morning light

As long as we live
As long as we try..then
The sun shall fall from our eyes

For As long as we live
And as long as we try..then
The sun shall fall from our eyes.
