The Sundry Poem by Anurag Talukdar

The Sundry

My words are my weapon,
My thoughts my shield,
I write prose and poetry,
But, still I can't forget thee.

My memories blend with my desires,
And here you are, blushing my blues away.
Your melodies, slither into my soul,
A million heartbeats held at sway.

A moment of eternity melts into oblivion,
The penumbra of your indifference darkens my world.
Unfurling the truth from my dreams,
How I wish to peel my heart off your vagaries.

My words are my weakness,
My thoughts my sin,
I wish I didn't write prose and poetry,
As for thee, I am just a sundry.
