Tomorrow Will Be A Better Day Poem by Anurag Talukdar

Tomorrow Will Be A Better Day

Staring into the clouds hovering above,
No they are not threatening,
But like benevolent domesticated hogs.
I ponder, if I shall too rot my life,
Acting a dog.
Chasing my tail,
Howling alone to the agonies of past.
Some agonies inflicted by others,
Mostly gifted to self.
Vices I have none,
Or so do I think,
But lots of frustration built up inside.
I must do something to cleanse my life.
Today I shall come up with a plan,
To alter my wretched existence,
For I know very well,
The nemesis is not hiding out somewhere,
But I see him, whenever I stare at the mirror.
