The Strength To Say Good-Bye - Poem by Katherine Sessor

Even though I seem quiet and shy
I have a strength inside of me
I have the strength to say good-bye

If a friend had always been a lie
I would be heartbroken but I realize
I have the strength to say good-bye

Even if someone precious to me dies
My soul will be crying but give me time
For I have the strength to say good-bye

When my soul is lost and I want to cry
Over time I shall heal, for I know that I
Still have the strength to say good-bye

this is an amazing poem, and it must be fate that led me to it because a friend of mine lost her father a week ago. this poem is very touching (Report) Reply
