The State Of Disgust Poem by Elijah Baguma

The State Of Disgust

Rating: 5.0

My heart is darkened by anger filled with thickness and mass I can barely even utter.

My heartbeat is rapid, faster than Usain Bolt or even the greatest contender in any race.

My breath is hard, anyone can access it. My heart is linked to my face; reason for my facial expression

My eyes are endlessly blinking and full of compassion about the future me. My nose is inhaling and exhaling air minding less of its contents.

My tongue is rolled and sandwiched by my teeth and dry lips. My skin is pale and ‘hardly' smooth showing my anxiety.

My general expression represents a sweet revenge that seems to transpire in the near future.

It was back in 2014 when my big sister quarreled at me for no single reason. i didn't want to respond back harshly to her so i wrote myself a poem that could calm my nerves.
