The Spring Flowers Are Back Looking Spruce Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Spring Flowers Are Back Looking Spruce

It's late February, beneath the solid opaque ice
One can barely see the mini buds coming out
Like a baby yearning to exit the mother's womb.

Once March arrived, that was the bomb
The bulbs got bigger, that was pretty nice
Some birds were eating them like sprout.

There's more sun, more fun out there
The gentle ladies were in a better mood
Maybe their stomach was full of food
And they felt as bubbly as a satisfied bear.

Spring means spending more time outdoor
And opening the windows and the main door
To let fresh air making headway into the house
While listening to the classical music of Strauss.
