The Sign To Redemption Poem by Randy McClave

I saw a sign which grabbed my attention
A mutual belief it did mention,
It led me to a place, where I found love and grace
A belonging without worries or tension.
The sign pointed to me where I needed to go
A place where I once did know,
Then I happily went, as though Heaven sent
I then knew definitely that it would help me grow.
I met people who were a lot like me
Once confused and lost, but now all are free,
Different sizes and faces, and looks and races
I was there and I was at peace and happy.
I now know that I truly do shine
What I thought belonged to others is now also mine,
I am happy everyday, with every step I take or word I say
And it all started because of a sign.
