The Scribbler's Voyage Poem by Jennieve Enano

The Scribbler's Voyage

Rating: 5.0

Been sailing on the TIDES

with no one, except a SCRIBBLE

in a NOOK.

Looking at the vast MOONLESS SKY

with only stars

that SPARKLE.

The night was cold, yet the wind

blew warmly.

And it seems romantic...

yes, indeed!

Sailing on the TIDES

caressed by NATURE.

Captured a heart so PURE;

In such a moment so ALONE...

SPEECHLESS, SOLITARINESS, SILENCE ENVIRON.

For nothing can be heard,

But a soon-fading hustles

of the WIND.

And the soft splashing of the WAVES.

No crickets that chirp, or owls

that howl,

No smoke fumes that can burn

a heart down.

No gadgets that beep or

lights that spark,

Only a watchful EYES in the DARK;

With a SCRIBBLE in a NOOK

on the silent TIDES.
