Anxious Poem by Jennieve Enano

Anxious

Rating: 4.0

I was in a still place,
where I used to be;
looking outside the window pane;
gazing up the twinkling stars.
with my thoughts wandering.
as the moon's bright shine
crept, to my room inside.

I was in the still place,
where I used to be;
lying on my bed, half awake;
I can see the stillness around;
suddenly t'was gone.
Now I see myself!
Standing in the middle of nowhere
am I lost?

I was in the still place,
where I used to be;
with my dreams caught me unaware;
what will I do?
How can I get out of it?
When there's no way for me to go.
I asked and cried for help!
thinking of no more hope, a hand held me!
My GOD... I am saved!
