The Return Poem by Sylviah Salima

The Return

Rating: 5.0

You left me broken and damaged

You left me knowing am nothing

I am not perfect but I appreciated what I had

To late to turn back

I had you to rely on, my family, my everything

Like a rhythm your love was like a song within me

Blinding me, forgetting all your harsh treatment

To late to turn back

I was left all alone, when you left without looking back

The struggle, the pain, the hurt, the tears

All were nothing in your eyes,

To late to turn back

Now your back, with all the lies.

Blinded, defeated and ashamed.

How do I hate you and pretend not to care

How do I accept you back when you left me with nothing

This times it's just too late to turn back
