The Reality Of Relativity Poem by Dean Meredith

The Reality Of Relativity

So here I am
Trying to keep it all together
Just like the other battlers
Little fish, avoiding the sharks

They say we shouldn't compare
I don't know who 'they' are
I'm guessing they might be bigger fish
But it's all relative, right?

I've got my nice wine
Not too expensive, not too cheap
My reheated frozen meal
While others have various things

Some have whatever they want
Champagne, caviar, the works
Others have whatever they can get
Maybe scraps, maybe nothing

And which part is wrong?
The former or the latter
Is the middle any better?
I guess it all depends

On where I'm at and where you're at
And where our loved ones are at
And where we'd all like to be
But you know what they say...
