The Rainbow

Sometimes after an angry storm
When the rain leaves you drenched
And shivering from the coldness
The grey clouds part making way for the sun
You see the colours in the distance
They wash over you like a warm shower
Bringing life back from the lifeless
And hopelessness turns to hope
