Silence Isn't Always Golden Poem by Jennifer Birchall

Silence Isn't Always Golden

Rating: 4.8

That hurt, a pain never felt before
I think my heart is broken
Knowing I no longer have your love
The silence spoke like thunder
I knew it would happen so why am I sad
My tears are a waterfall flowing free
I'll wipe them with a heavy hand
Then I'll paint on a smile

So true how the silence can tear through us for years. Your poem made me feel strong emotion and to me that makes a great poem thank you.

This feels so real. It is what I do paint on a smile.
