The Race Poem by klever Gold

The Race

Rating: 5.0

Swift and humble is the winner,
Proud and arrogant the looser.
Confusion lies in this race,
For pride is an enemy to failure.
Why should a looser be proud
And a winner humble?
Simplicity lays in my answer
For humility is a key factor to victory
And failure the result from pride

You the victor,
Watch your daily steps.
Before victory dwells humility
And victory is the mother of pride
Watch, for victors can still become losers
