The Profundity Of Pain
To have found
And lost you!
Life went by
In vain,
Nothing but
An uncomfortable
Cover,
Where sadness
And tears,
Could not hide
The empty river,
Dry, Wide
Without you,
Total pain.
A lost love is a lost life, the emptiness it leaves behind is a void that consumes the smell of roses, it devours the sweetness joy, it is a shadow constantly jumping in front of us telling us that we left something behind....I totally understand this poem and you do the point justice! Great poem Sandra!
