The Purest Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Purest Love

Rating: 5.0

The Purest Love,
Is what you gave to me,
The most unselfish,
That's why, we both were free,
There was never you, without me,
But now, I am alone,
Still, its only you I see,
So much you were,
And are a part of me.

There is a complete story implied in these lines: you don't tell it but we feel it beneath and supporting the Lyrical surface poem. It is a story/poem of loss without bitterness, of separation without regret. You are so caught up in your gratitude for what was so good that you can remember it any negative feelings.
