The Perfume Poem by Anusha Subramanian

The Perfume

Rating: 4.8

The dressing table was made of timber,
And there stood the queen of cosmetics in her royal chamber,
With a well curved figure,
And a sensuous trigger,
Made out of quality glass, which obviously was top class.
Her tiara was pure gold, to showcase her royal hold.
She projected her scented blood and soul,
Onto anybody who wished to feel fresh and whole.
The costly perfume bottle was beautiful and gay,
To make anybody’s day, a delighted say.

Beautiful poem! Timber is always nice wheather in scent and beauty. And the metaphor of women and glass bottle. Women are like glass scented bottles and they are intoxicating...
