The Pennant Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Pennant

Rating: 4.0

The pennants

My colleagues, and friends
Men, women of the pen
Honestly you are shame
Be brave and confess.

With each word and sentence
New life and the thought you beset
For the king, for leader from you is lecture.
Also to advertise, from bag to shoes and to dress
You write and you manage…

The Royals and stars
Medicines, engine parts
All get name and value from you
Money has become king thanks to you;
Needlessly I must say: "shame on you."

I have not been corrupted by the payment of one penny for my limericks and comic strip but oh wouldn't it be nice approaching thirty thousand eh? shall I read 'em?
