The Part I Can'T Let You Have

Rating: 4.8

I'll give you the material stuff
The presents you can keep
I'll let you crawl under my skin
Go through my eyes deep

I'll let you have the laughters
The silly jokes and smiles
I'll sign the 'open relationship' papers
I promise, I'll even give you the files

But there's a part I can't let you have
A philosophy I can't help but defend
I can't give you forever
Because that's nothing you can lend
