The Paint Horse Poem by Kelsie Peters

The Paint Horse

Rating: 4.5

The sun has disappeared,
The sky is midnight blue,
The moon comes for its daily trip,
All the stars are due.

There's something very strange,
Something around this land,
Something very secret,
Something very grand.

This something can torment you
With just a swish of its tail,
It can also delight you,
It never, ever fails.

It has a magnificent coat
Like it was dipped in paint,
It is something very special,
Like an undiscovered saint.

A paint she is,
It's very true,
Give her a chance
And she will charm you.

A paint horse she is,
It's very true,
A mixture of colours,
Some pink, some white, some blue.
