The One Moment Poem by Anam Rizvi

The One Moment

I stood there silently watching them pray.
Tears would not stop. They kept flowing away,
All here equated in wealth and power,
To ask of their lord, their merciful God.

The one moment that would last forever
The spirit in the air beckoned to me.
Ask and he will give.Ask and you shall receive.
So i pleaded.So i begged.So i felt.
