The Oath Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Oath

The Oath

Is early in morning,
I, happy, driving,
In Fraser valley,
Fog, cloud cover me.

The mountains are shouting:
"Freedom, freedom, freedom, "
I repeat like parrots:
"Freedom, freedom, freedom."

Seek a scared moment
To make love with nature.

Have broken away
From town, and urban.

With the robe of clouds
Sky looks like bride,
Though grey and whiny.

The word oath on my mind
Dances, goes far beyond
Some Baluchi manners
And the U.S. system!

In States, they raise hands
And repeat, using tongues.

The simples act reverse,
Swear with wind, water,
They believe in nature:
"Sure, expose the liars! "

I escaped the modern
Judgements, lies, and liars,
Am tired from them, too tired.
