The Oak Tree Poem by Hanna Lara

The Oak Tree

Sitting in this old oak tree
Reminiscing the memories we shared
The happiness, the sadness, and the glee
That made my every living day complete

You came to me unexpectedly
And never thought that you'd stay
You showed light in this lifeless world
Until the last days of yours

As i watch these leaves to fall
I hope that your memories will never fade
For you showed me, my friend
What this world mean

How a tranquil mind in a solitude keeps it's spirits up. Wonderful thoughts, well expressed. Thanks for sharing.
