The Need I Had Of A Woman Poem by Uriah Hamilton

The Need I Had Of A Woman

Rating: 4.5

I’ve felt the sorrow
Of looking into a sad girl’s eyes
As she was about to depart
From the room of our dreams.

I remember her kiss
Upon my cheek
As her tears
Touched her lips.

In a brief moment
She was able
To teach me love
And the pain of death.

I’ll never forget
The need I had of a woman
In this world,
And the fear
Of never seeing her again.
