The Mirror Poem by Erik Gillette

A mirror shows a man his soul
who sees himself being pulled
he no longer recognizes himself
for he finds himself no longer engulfed by the fire within.
unsure if he will be able to pin
this demon inside that scratches at him.
When the man in the mirror reaches out in terror
do not run any more from such a peril
you are strong
much more then many have longed for.
The man in that mirror must change.
For now he will reek of confidence and strife
and he will lead a new life...
now he has found the fire within.
