The Mirror Poem by Stephanie Lynn Daniels

The Mirror

The face I see, it is me
But its not who I used to be.

The skin I see, so full of flaws
Is the same face the world adores.

But here in the mirror, that light that shines
Makes me quiver with something other than fear
Causing me to question who I've become.

But through the changes in my life
I somehow still remain one thing;
Sad about me.
