The Road Poem by Stephanie Lynn Daniels

The Road

All along the road I've walked
Along life's road I've walked and talked.
Many times I needed to rest
But walking on was what was best.

I cried about the pain it brought
I sighed about the lessons taught.
But all the way I kept on going
And what came next was never knowing.

But sooner than the day is done
This long life's road is overcome
And tough as it may seem to be
This road is one great journey.
