So September is over,
December is on its way
And as we said our goodbye's
I couldn't believe how easy it was to say
Such cruel words
That was meant to break
Your spirit, your trust
Our obvious mistake

But you left anyway
As if nothing was wrong
There and then I knew
In my world, you did not belong

So goodbye my friend
My lover
My morning
We'll meet again
When there's nothing but memories to hold us together.
