The Mind-Reader Sky-Dummer Poem by Luce Darwin

The Mind-Reader Sky-Dummer

Leaving me things, here and there
things only you; my loyal mind-reader
Could possibly know I love
And that is how I know
You are not only charged particles
Electricity rich air;
Spiking tiny hairs,
While my mind's EKG spikes
Up and up in contact
Though only through intuition;
(You are a mind-reader)
While in the autumn parks
You are drumming the sky
As the planes shake
It is only air pockets;
(They don't know the truth)
The birds stop singing
And listen with me
You have every breathing thing's attention
I saw you in the future then
Tears rolled down my face
You were a genius
In a lab coat;
More brilliant than you can imagine;
I've always told you
To work on your imagination
You are lost now but I saw you
And you will be something great
You are something great now
Even at your weakest lost state;
Your mind demands
the attention of the entire world
Never doubt yourself
Never once doubt yourself
