The Mighty Angel Of The Lord Poem by Singleton M. Tate

The Mighty Angel Of The Lord

Arise,
Thou
Valiant Protector
Of
The
Innocent

~~~
Bear Thy Wings
And
Thy Sword,
In
Holy Homage
~~~

With Power,
Safety
And
Loving-kindness,
Beset Those,
Who Are
God's Beloved

~~~
As,
The Children
Are
The Lord's Inheritance
~~~

Let,
Thy Countenance's Glistening,
Transcend,
The
Brilliance of Lightning,
Terrible and Fierce

~~~
Destroy All enemies
Of
The Holy One,
Keep
Sacred Hearts
And
Souls in Life
~~~

Be Thou a Shield
And give
Rest,
To each
Child
That
Slumbers

~~~
Stand at Attention,
Forsake Not
Thy
Post,
Oh Guardian
Of
The Most High
~~~

Lay Now,
Sweet Dreams
To The
Minds
Of
His,
Cherished Spirits

As,

Thou Art,
The
Devout One,
The Mighty Angel of The Lord
