The Malady Of Modern Youth Poem by Anna C Croft

The Malady Of Modern Youth

She thinks about death a lot
But knows it's unhealthy, but so what.

She thinks drowning would be for the best
The easiest way for her to meet death.

Just a quick jump from the end of the pier
From a place she knows no-one would see her.

Someone told her it's hard to drowned
Unless you weight yourself down.

She knows it's a human transgression
Maybe she use a bit of discretion.

Dont think for a moment, she's deterred
She has had enough of life in this world.
