The Magician Poem by Ima Ryma

The Magician

The parents took their children to
See a magician do his tricks.
And such fun marvels he did do,
With quite an entertaining mix
Of disappearing that and this.
The parents were quite pleased to see
Their kids caught in hypnotic bliss,
As the magician proved that he
Could make anything disappear
Into other time and place zone.
His tricks the family did cheer,
But then the parents were alone.

The frantic parents did search on,
But magician and kids were gone.
