The Lovers Poem by Marc Goddard

The Lovers

Rating: 5.0

As they hold hands,
time escapes them,
the seas become still,
the wind ceases it's attack
as the trees become motionless.
They float in an ephemeral Fantasia
born of desire.
As they hold hands,
their world is filled
by a warmth,
the stars that twinkle
and shimmer above them,
pale in comparison
to the euphoric glow of their love.
