The Lost Boy, And The Lonely Girl Poem by Cora Lee

The Lost Boy, And The Lonely Girl

When your all alone,
with no where left to go.
The feeling of being left behind,
when theres nothing else to hide.

Somewhere he is waiting,
alone and for the taking.
Feeling just like you,
with noting else to do.

Alone, is just a phrase,
yet, it always seems to stay.
asking 'Will it ever go away? '
day after day after day.

Telling himself lies,
and never seems to cry.
Waiting for this girl,
to walk into his world.

Sitting by yourself,
with dust apon your shelf.
Waithing for this guy,
to keep you getting by.

All alone again,
only him he can depend.
He walks into the closet,
makeing sure that he locks it.
Grabs the rope above is head,
his long lost love asleep in bed.
On the chair, rope around his neck,
knowing he's just another soul thats recked.
